2. Nature of Service (AI-Based Analysis)

RankAsAnswer utilizes artificial intelligence technologies (including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini APIs) to analyze web content for optimization purposes.

• No Guarantees: While we strive for accuracy, AI models are probabilistic. We do not guarantee specific SEO rankings, citation inclusion, or traffic increases.
• AI Hallucinations: You acknowledge that AI-generated insights may occasionally contain inaccuracies ("hallucinations"). Users should verify critical data independently.

3. AppSumo Lifetime Deals (LTD) & Licenses

If you purchased RankAsAnswer via AppSumo, the following specific terms apply:

• Lifetime Definition: "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product, not the buyer. It implies access to the Service for as long as RankAsAnswer is available and supported. If the Service is discontinued, the Lifetime Deal will terminate.
• Redemption: Codes must be redeemed within 60 days of purchase.
• Refunds: AppSumo purchases are subject to AppSumo's refund policy (typically 60 days). All refund requests for AppSumo purchases must be directed to AppSumo support.
• Plan Limits: LTD users are strictly bound by the credit limits, project limits, and feature sets defined in their specific AppSumo tier.

4. Fair Use Policy (API Protection)

To ensure the stability of our Service and manage the high costs of AI processing, RankAsAnswer enforces a strict Fair Use Policy:

• Automated Access: You may not use bots, scrapers, or scripts to access the Service or bypass credit limits.
• Excessive Use: We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily suspend accounts that trigger an unusually high volume of API requests that jeopardize the service stability for other users.
• Account Sharing: Accounts are single-user only (unless a Team plan is purchased). Sharing login credentials to split credit usage is a violation of these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

• Our IP: The Service, its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of RankAsAnswer.
• Your Data: You retain all rights to the URLs and content you submit for analysis. You grant us a license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Payment and Subscription

• Recurring Billing: For non-AppSumo users, subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RankAsAnswer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
• Any content obtained from the Service; and
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
